There are many fun and exciting P2E games that you can choose from, but which are exciting and potentially profitable? Given that blockchain games were one of 2021’s hottest trends, there’s every reason to expect continued growth throughout 2022. However, that doesn’t guarantee that you will make money playing any of these games.

Gods Unchained is a collectible card game built on Ethereum. As with many other crypto games, players collect cards, battle others and gain or lose swag, all of which are recorded in an online profile.

As it states on the first page of the game, “In 2019, players spent $87 billion on in-game items. Players received nothing; it all went to giant game companies. Unlike other free-to-play games, Gods Unchained gives you complete ownership over your in-game items. Collect rare cards, build your deck and sell cards to other players.”

What makes Gods Unchained unique is its use of cryptocurrency. Players pay and receive real ETH when they purchase or sell cards, which can then be traded back into fiat currency if desired. And as has been confirmed by its developers, rare cards will also hold higher market values than more common ones. This has led some to Gods Unchained being called “crypto’s first killer app.”

To become a validator, you’ll need a minimum of 32 ETH (currently 13 Jan 22 about 106,809.93 USD), and you’ll be “responsible for storing data, processing transactions, and adding new blocks to the blockchain,” according to the Ethereum website. Validators with 32 ETH should expect annualized returns of between 4–10%.
